Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Have u lou sang with ur family and friends yet? :D

Lou sang is a must during Chinese New Year celebration. It also commonly known as yee sang, yuu shang or yu sheng, whichever u like to name it. P/S: Sorry I don't know what it called in English ><" I don't explain here what this dish consists of and what's the meaning of each ingredients because I guess everyone knows it. If u don't know, ask ah gong ah maa heheheee or google it lahhh :P

I went for a lou sang dinner with my labmates/colleagues before CNY, before everyone goes back to hometown (right after my postgraduate seminar :D). A total of seven of us. We don't know any other restaurant which serves good foods and lou sang, hence we went to the nearest one, New Paris Restaurant which located at PJ SS2.

We go for the smallest yuu shang, RM33. Small yuu shang shared by 7 peoples. No choice, students are poor, we are poor and so we need to save $$$ :D Their yuu shang not bad though. *Thumbs up* The price reasonable or not, I'm not so sure.

We ordered this scrambled egg with shrimps, RM12. As we just tried their scrambled egg with bitter gourd few days ago. This dish really has only egg and shrimp, maybe they should have add some onions.

Vegetables, RM9.

Their signature tofu. Fried tofu with minced pork, RM12. This is awesome. One of my favorite dish in this restaurant.

Teochew steamed fish, RM26. Hmmm the gravy is nice but the fishy smell of the fish is too strong which a little bit spoil the dish.

Last but not least, the receipt. A total of RM116.80 for 7 persons. I would say this is quite cheap and reasonable. Worth the $$.

Satisfied with the dinner. We had joy and fun ♥

♥ 2012-01-21 Massive Jam on Karak Highway

Hate to stuck in massive jam especially on highway during festive season. Shouldn't have back to hometown in the early of Saturday morning (2012-01-21). Look at the picture below. Massive jam on Karak highway that u can't imagine. Why everyone wake up so early? (-.-)||| I thought most of the people will depart on Friday aikssssss.

I really don't understand. How traffic congestion happens on highway?? Cars doesn't move at all. What about u? For those who uses north-south expressway, are u experience the same thing?

Because of the massive jam before the toll, I stopped at the petrol station to get something for breakfast. There's only Dunkin' Donuts, donuts that I hate the most. Very limited choices they have, ended up I just simply bought two donuts and they were so not nice. Aiks!

♥ 2012-01-17 Postgraduate seminar

Second semester of my postgraduate study going to end soon in February. According to the University of Malaya rules and regulations, students are compulsory to organize a postgraduate seminar not later by second semester. Due to a week of Chinese New Year holiday and a few public holiday next coming weeks as well as tight schedule of lecturers, I forced to have my seminar falls on 17th of January. Kinda in a rush and I nearly got no time to prepare for it. Just back from Krabi trip, many abandoned works need to be catch up. Weekends full of appointment as well, laser tag activity and sing k session. Hehehee that's why I have to take a day leave on 16th of January to prepare for the seminar. Loads of scientific articles to read, prepare presentation slides, compile experimental results and etc (Regret not to do it earlier, my fault my fault).

Me in formal wear for the presentation. Yeah a smile on the face because the presentation wasn't too bad although there were some questions which I unable to answer. But big thanks to professor for sorting the problem out and gimme some suggestions and comments. I will look into them seriously and improve. Overall the seminar wasn't too bad, I will give myself a rating of 7 out of 10??

Finally the seminar is over. Yeahhhhh!! ^^ Feels so happy and relief. Finally I have no burden and I can spare my time 100% for CNY :D I will have to do last minute shopping for CNY new clothes and shoes. Let's gooooooooo!

Have u ever heard about Skinfood this beauty brand? From what I know, all their products based entirely on natural food ingredients like fruits and vegetables. Sounds like a prtty good products for our skin. I'm not so sure about this, but this time I hope their products really help on my trouble skin. At least reduces some pimples growing on the face sighhh. And at the same time, I will take good care of my diet too. Less oily, spicy and fried stuff as well as cold drinks.

Here are the skincare products that I bought from Skinfood outlet which located in Cineleisure. A complete set of skincare products: tea tree cleansing foam, tea tree toner, tea tree essence, tea tree emulsion and Parsley & Mandarin spot gel.

Here I includes brief introduction/ Instruction about each of the products that I bought (Quoted from their website):

1) Tea tree cleansing foam: Foam a desired amount with warm water and massage gently onto face. Rinse with warm water. A deep cleanser that gently removes make up with a refreshing feeling. Contains tea tree extract, a natural antibacterial agent and AHA to effectively exfoliate dead skin cells.

2) Tea tree toner: Toner for acne troubled skin with tea tree oil. Effectively disinfects and relieves the skin. Apply evenly after cleansing and gently tap to absorb.

♥ Dim Sum breakfast at Imperial Garden Restaurant (Tai Thong)

Went to Imperial Garden Restaurant (Tai Thong Group of Restaurants) which located at Petaling Jaya with family for breakfast. Good offer from Tai Thong restaurant - 50% dim sum discount promotion, happening every Saturday. That's why we were here for the breakfast haha, else I would prefer the dim sum at Old Klang Road (all time favorite).

Very nice logo and design of the menu. Very classy. Of course this is not the main concern, the environment and the foods of the restaurant should be the first to take into account.

Wedding dinner :D Just kidding -.- The decorations of the restaurant very eyes catching right? Cozy ambiance too, good place for family to gather. Was very crowded on that day morning, full house and most of the dim sum was sold out too. Luckily we made booking for a table earlier.

Their double-boiled soup promotion, buy 1 free 1. Wanted to order but all the soups sold out, so fast.

♥ 2012-01-01 New Year Trip To Krabi &Glur Hostel

Happy new year everyone! This will be my first post in year 2012 and it is about my first trip this year. Awesome one, a 5 days 4 nights trip to Krabi, Thailand together with my beloved friends. What a good kick start of year 2012 :D

Look at the Thai Baht that I have. I'm all ready to go Krabi on 1st of January 2012 to enjoy to the max! Too excited, this was why I suffering from insomnia at the night before. We boarded on plane at 1.30pm and reached Krabi at around 1.55pm. It took only 25mins to reach Krabi?? Okay I'm just trying to confuse u. 1.55pm is actually the Thailand time and the flight took us about one and a half hour. We have an extra hour to spend in Thailand :D

Glur hostel, this was the place where we stay. It is a backpacker style accommodation which located at AoNang, Krabi. "Glur" means "good friends or buddy" in Thai, especially in the Southern area in Thai. This is the reception house of Glur hostel. Very nice design and color isn't it? And I like all the decorations thingy in there too.

We got ourselves a 8 persons shared room. That's means 6 of us have to share the room with another two strangers.

Although there were 8 persons in one room but it wasn't pack at all. Each of us have a very nice own bed, cozy and comfortable. And we have our own locker too. Look at the curtain, nice one and me likey :D

Besides cozy and comfortable room, there are some facilities in the hostel. They provided a mini kitchen, there's free water for u. There's fruits in the fridge, instant milo and coffee and biscuits for u as well. U can grab those foods and drinks, sit down and have ur very precious leisure time in this open area. There's tv, dvd player, dvd and many books provided for u to kill ur free time.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. One thing that we dislike was the bed bugs that bitten us -.- Why there are so many bed bugs? T.T

Have u ever seen newborn mice? And yeah I did, for like uncountable times.

The mother and the babies. They are just one day old. My colleagues/ lab mates use them in their experiment/ research. Hence I have the chance to snap a few pictures of them. They are so tiny and cute. But really pathetic that they going to be killed after a few days, sigh.

Time flies, don't u think so. And this is only the second blog post of mine in the month of October. I'm really too occupied with things and tasks till I'm lacking of time to type, to blog and keep u guys up-to-date. Thousand apologizes.

Just back from Bangkok (definitely will blog about it, sooner or later -.-) -> Hp spoilt (motherboard@gg.com) -> Hp fixed (goodbye to all bangkok photos) -> and now busy attending friend's wedding dinner. Gosh, why so many people getting married this year? So that next year can get "dragon baby"?? :D Went to attend friends' wedding dinner last weekend, one at my hometown - Mentakab and the other one in KL.

Early in the morning friends and the groom drive all the way from Mentakab to Kuantan to obtain the bride. Too bad I didn't follow and I can't follow because I'm not "heng dai". Their outfit theme of the day was Manchester United football team and got referee too ><" I'm not going into details about this. Just share a few pictures here.

Wedding day of my another friend. The heng dai geng outfit is much more common, which is pink shirt. Now i got an idea, next time my husband and his heng dai geng should wear lab coat then hahah :D damn special, isn't it?? For this, I'm not going into details also, just share a few pictures. Actually there's video of the whole process, but I haven't get it from friend yet so can't share it here.

A good day I supposed. Didn't plan for any lab works but went to attend a talk in Bouvelard Hotel, Midvalley Megamall (Will blog about it later). Get myself 6pieces of Big Apple donuts :D At first wanted to get Krispy Kreme but not in the end because i still think their donut is a bit too sweet.

Then i get myself Chatime milk tea as well :D Friends recommended me the grass jelly roasted milk tea, not bad though. I'm gonna try more next time, Chatime is now my new love :D

Big apple donuts + Chatime = happiness. Yeah, I'm a happy girl today *satisfied* XD

♥ Samsung Galaxy S2 spoil and bad experiences

2 weeks ago I got myself a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Maxis.

Vivid, fast and slim -> 3 words that u can use to describe Samsung Galaxy S2. It is an awesome phone isn't it? Dual-core application processor enables fast browsing (I agree), quick multi-tasking (I still don't know how to multi-task using this phone ><), efficient gaming (Agree, angry birds my favorite game lol) etc etc. Then what I like most about this phone is the untra slim 8.49mm design, but damn scare when holding it because no solid feel. Ohh ya not to forget its 8MP camera, damn cool especially for macro shots. Damn happy that I can bring it along to Bangkok from 1st to 9th of October.

I snapped many many photos in Bangkok using this awesome phone. All the photos quality were good. But one thing I don't like is the battery dry very fast. The battery flat not even 12 hours of usage, luckily I bring along my digital camera. 6th of October, a day to be remembered. As usual, battery goes low. I ignored it because I was at outside. Battery flat and eventually the phone turned off itself. After that, it cannot be charged meaning there's no charging indications when I plugged it into power sauce. And the phone cannot be turned on, cannot be hard reset etc. It just RIP like this. *SAD* What I worry most is the photos and videos inside that I took in Bangkok. I haven't backup yet. I supposed it is just the battery dead? *hopefully*

I sent the phone to Samsung Center for checking and repairing. Their service is BAD! Told me technicians will call me and tell me what's the problem with the phone after checking. But I received no calls till day 3 I can't wait anymore I gave them a call and asked for the repair status. Then only the people told me it is still pending because the technician is now waiting for the "parts" to arrive then only can fix my phone. I wondering what's the "parts" she means and she can't even give any explanation about it. I asked is that means my phone have to be hard reset and all the data will lost and she said YES. I complained, why there's no technician call and explain and ask me before they proceed with the repair? She just told me she don't know??? I requested for a new phone instead of waiting for the long repair process. Then suddenly she asked me to hold on the phone and she will contact the technicians again. And now she told me they just received the "parts" and will proceed with the repair immediately. Ohh ya received the parts within just few 10 minutes out of sudden after i complain?? So freaking fake >< I was really lazy to talk to her anymore and I said to her "fine, just make sure they repair as soon as possible and I want the phone by tomorrow". Of course she can't promises me, as expected.

Next day I called again and the phone repairing is done and ready to collect. But why again no technician calls me and informs about this?? I went over Samsung Center to collect the phone. It's the motherboard problem and they changed a new motherboard for me. Ya, it means all my data gone. All my photos and videos taken in Bangkok gone T_T And what happens? It is only two weeks and motherboard spoil? So unlucky. I should get myself an iPhone instead.

♥ Jogoya Facebook Fans Gathering

Just a "I'm attending" click and a short comment in Facebook event wall, I was one of the lucky one to be selected to join this gathering session and I'm allowed to bring one partner. In the beginning I was not so sure about what with this event but in the end I decided to attend ><"

On that day itself only i got to know this gathering is to meet the Jogoya founder. Err quite a fun gathering, got to meet Mr. Chiang Cheng-Nan (the Jogoya founder) and take a photo with him.

There's question and answer session which all the fans can win mystery gift (Jogoya umbrella and tiramisu cake).

There's a light refreshment for us as well. The foods are nice but too bad not enough for everyone. Maybe Jogoya should have prepare more for all the invited fans. Between, sorry that I do not have a nice picture of this. And this is the only picture I can get from Jogoya FB page.

Do u know who is Jim Sir 詹瑞文? He is from Hong Kong and he is famous with all his hilarious talk show. If u don't know anything about him, just google/ youtube his name and enjoy some of his talk shows :) or here is his FB page.

For ur information, Jim Sir will be coming to Malaysia in 26th of November for his 1st ever Jim Chim "HK La Tiger" stand up theatre comedy live in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. Grab this chance if u are one of his big fans. Prior to this, he is now in Malaysia from 19th to 24th of September to promote and to meet all the fans.
In 21st of September, I went to Overtime at Tropicana City Mall together with my friends to attend the activity mentioned above. Surprisingly, it was a fun night filled with laughter with all his funny jokes and interesting game named "Dino" :D

Finally, I watched Nasi Lemak 2.0, a Namewee film.

For me it is quite a good movie, funny and many real phenomenon in Malaysia that need to be improved are well presented *thumbs up*. Doubtlessly, he is really the voice of the new generation of young Malaysians. And I like all the songs in the movie. I'm not going into details on this film, watch it urself to figure out more. But arr, can I ask why is it called Nasi lemak 2.0?? I still don't understand after the movie. For those who already watched this movie, mind to explain to me? Sorry I don't mean to be so stupid and slow ><"

A special thanks to my friend who invited me to the premiere screening of this movie. Not to forget Nuffnang and Churp Churp too, for giving the opportunities to Nuffnangers and Churpers to participate in many premiere screening contest *appreciate*

I didn't watch any trailer or read any synopsis before I go for this movie. With least expectation, I guess this is why I enjoy the movie pretty much. I find it amusing and very entertaining, even though the story line is just simple and nothing much interesting. This is the first time I see Mr. Bean can talk (although he don't really speak much)!! And he is a spy (a fumbling spy instead lol). How cool :) Personally, I think this movie is worth watching, way better than "Cowboy and Aliens". At least, it makes you burst out laughing :)

♥ Fell on the stairs ><"

Stupid me! Fell down while I'm walking up the stairs. Sounds weird? Because most of the people fell when they walking down the stairs, not the other way round like me. It happened very fast and the pain almost kills me, worst pain ever. A bruise then occurred on my knee, within a few minutes. Look at the picture below:

#1 The bruise isn't clear because of the lighting in the room as well as the shadow of my hp. Skin peeled off ><" I don't know how to describe the pain, but it is really painful *bitter*

#2 This is how the bruise looks like after few days. I can't even walk properly and can't wear any long pants as well. Sighhhhhhhhhhh.

Since then, I walk slow while I'm on the stairs. *phobia* No more next time please. T.T

♥ Tea time @ Espress Cafe

Have u ever heard about Espress Cafe? I never realize the existence of this cafe until one day when we drive around Kota Kemuning and I spotted this cafe, hence dropped by for a short tea break. Let catch a glimpse on the photos I shared below for more.

One and only picture of the cafe that I snapped. Sincerely apologize for not taking more pictures to share and the photo quality that might annoys u. Quite a cozy place for u to dine in right? Not bad though and personally I like the design of this restaurant.

This is how's the menu looks like. Okay, I know there's nothing special on the design and maybe not worth a mention but I still want to share :p

The steak and chicken chop on the menu attracts my attention and other foods for example the noodles and burgers just not so suit my appetite and taste bud at that moment. And the very limited food varieties really made me head scratching don't know what to eat what to order.

Just found this cute, hence snapped a picture and share it here. Romeo & Juliet Mini burger, what a cute name :D

Spaghetti Aglio-Olio with mussels, RM9.50. Ordered this because we would like to try how nice is their look-simple-but-not-so-easy-to-cook spaghetti aglio-olio and we love the mussels. *Sigh, sorrowfulness overwhelmed* This spaghetti doesn't taste nice for us, a big disappointment.

Sizzling grilled chicken chop with black pepper sauce, RM11.90. Luckily this one taste nicer, worth a try.

Orange juice, RM5.50.

Chocolate snow ice, RM5.30. I love this a lots, especially the chocolate toppings! It blew me away. Heaven, and I found my happiness back after the spaghetti :)

Not really a very bad dining experience though. I won't ban this cafe and I will definitely visit again to try other foods maybe their coffee and the romeo & juliet mini burger :D Guess this outlet in Kota Kemuning is still new and they need improvements. The one in Klang looks awesome and receives quite many good feedbacks from customers.

♥ Foods I eat at Gurney Drive

Helloo from Penang again and it's my day 5 in Penang :) Holiday mode still ON hehe.

Penang island, also known as "Pearl of Orient", offers the best of Malaysian street foods or better known as hawker foods. This is why we referred it as food capital of Malaysia or foods heaven, undoubtedly. And I guess everyone knows what are the top picks in Penang and where to eat. But it's been one big headache, I dunno where to eat in Penang at night time and I only thought of the famous hawker center in Gurney Drive.

This hawker center in Gurney Drive has a collection of stalls selling all the specialties of Penang but I would say the foods here are not the best that Penangites will purposely go for. Besides, there are also a lots of stylish and elegant cafe, bars and restaurants along the seaside.

First thing I ordered here is the satay, not so nice. U might feel curious why am I ordered satay in the first place before other scrumptious foods. It's just one of my favorite food and they served it fast, just an appetizer while I need to wait for a long queue for the famous char kuey teow here :D

While waiting for the char kuey teow, I bought myself popiah. This is my first time to try on this special popiah which serves together with soup. I don't really like it because the soup makes the thin and almost translucent skin becomes soft and tasteless. The stuffing becomes soft too and ain't taste good.

We get this fried kuey teow finally after queued and waited for half an hour. Nice one but still I preferred the one in Lorong Selamat - sisters char kuey teow. I will blog about this later.

Laksa is another must-eat-food in Penang. This is the best laksa that I had in Penang. I like its sour and tangy taste, thick with fish meat with a spoon of fish paste and generously garnished with sliced vegetables including onions, cucumbers, red chillis, mints etc. Heavenly taste! *thumbs up*

This fried oyster omelette (Oh Chien) also excellent. I love its fluffy eggy omellete and the fresh juicy oysters. For Oh Chien, I always prefer the one with gooey stick base instead of crispy base.

Another special food in Penang, the chee cheong fun. It's so different from the one I had in KL, it doesn't served together with other ingredients like fish ball, fish cake, fu zhuk etc. Unlike the Hong Kong style also, it is devoid of any meat. It only served with three basic sauces - sweet sauce, shrimp paste and chilli sauce along with a dash of oil and sprinkled with sesame seeds.This is the way Penangites enjoy the chee cheong fun. For me, I enjoy it only with the sweet sauce. Not bad but I can't eat much, too sweet for me.

I ordered century egg as well. I like this together with sliced ginger.

Last but not least, we ordered a fruit platter :) Be healthy but too bad we can't finish it, stomach too filled with foods.

We bought this roasted dry squid too. Nice one :)

After that, we take a walk along Gurney Drive to enjoy the sea breeze. So satisfied and so relaxing.

Have u watch the TVB series "My sister of eternal flower"? I myself haven't watch yet and I didn't know there's cute pig pig 猪 toys in the series until my Facebook is overwhelming with the pig pig 猪 posts on the wall. They attracts my attention and I randomly clicked on a photo album. Ohh gosh, they are so adorable. A family of pig which consists of pig pig daddy, pig pig mummy, two pig pig sisters and pig pig brother. I'm interested to purchase a one whole set of it and I start searching for it. Kinda worry of the quality of the toys because they are all hand-made and u can't judge from the picture.

Luck is with me this time :D What a coincident that my friend happened to go Hong Kong to attend a course for 3 weeks. Hence I drop him a mission which is helping me to search for the pigs in Hong Kong. And yea yeap yupez ! He managed to find one dealer and bought me a one whole set which he claims that they are the best in Hong Kong. *So Happy*

Hi guys. Time flies .__. Don't even notice it had been 1 month plus I didn't keep my blog update and the penang trip update half hanging as well, so sorry. Here's come a short update, more to come soon.

Had a very full filling tea break. Thanks to the awesome Subway buy one free one voucher ;) Of course i don't eat both sandwiches alone, I share it with someone ;) Never thought a subway sandwich actually enough to stuff my stomach and make me do not have appetite to take dinner. Gotta keep my diet plan success! Gotta control my diet, say NO to obese hehe.

A short update: Nothing much to share about my day one in Penang. I was just staying in the hotel to rest. And only had a very simple late dinner at Sushi King in Queensbay Mall nearby. I would go for Zanmai Sushi if there's one here.

I ordered a set meal of Salmon steak. I like this broiled Salmon in BBQ sauce with potato wedges. It served with Japanese egg custard (my all-time-favorite), miso soup, steamed rice and Yakult cultured milk drink.

And my dear only ordered Inari (sweet beancurd sushi), Salmon sushi and California Temaki.

As usual, we only ordered hot green tea but not any others special beverages.

That's our simple sushi dinner at Sushi King. And I sleep after took the medicine.

Good morning all. Surprisingly today I can wake up so early in the morning though it's not working day. Yupez I took 3 days leave (6th - 8th of July) to go for a short getaway. Things are going too fast and I can't stop to catch my breath. I can't find time for self care, numerous responsibilities and goals I face everyday pulled me in a zillion directions ended up I fall sick. I need to stop myself from squeezing my brain and work on the challenging lab research, at least a few days to rest and relax. 正所谓：“休息是为了走更长远的路” ：）

Depart from Shah Alam house very early in the morning and half way stopped by Bidor to eat their famous duck mee for breakfast. The dry one（干捞）served with a kon low mee and a bowl of duck in herbal soup, as shown in the photos below. Thumbs up for their good customer service. The old ah maa in the restaurant even offered me to fill up my water bottle when she sees my water left not much after I took my medicines. I felt warm :)

Duck thigh in herbal soup, I prefer drumstick. The herbal soup is sweet and the herbs taste is not strong, perfectly suits my taste buds.

The kon low mee that comes with the duck in herbs soup, RM7, not cheap though. I won't say it is the best kon low mee in town. I didn't finish it because my bad coughing don't allow me to enjoy it.

Hot milo. I thought they will serve it in the antique cup instead of plastic one, not really a good practice.

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Penang. Congested traffic in Penang bridge. I don't know why, I really like the feeling of travelling on Penang Bridge. But there's heavy haze here and I can't enjoy the beautiful awesome sea view along Penang Bridge. Sigh. Reached Eastin Hotel and thought we can check in immediately. But the pretty hotel receptionist requested us to wait because all the room is still occupied and she promised to give me a call once the room is ready. Hence, I dropped by The Lounge in Eastin hotel to have a drink and online surfing net while waiting to check in.

I like the warm and comfortable ambience of The Lounge. Look at the special decorations and lighting, I like it.

This is the bar where u can choose from a variety or tempting treats, cocktails, mocktails, coffee or tea and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

I ordered myself fresh carrot juice which costs me RM13.95.

Time passed and I been waiting for the call from the receptionist for 3 hours plus. I even finished watching a movie "Ice Kacang Puppy Love" on my laptop. I felt so tired and almost dozed off. At last I decided to foot the bill and approached the receptionist in the reception counter. I'm damn pissed off when she saw me and asked me where did I go and why I waited for so long to check in because the room is ready earlier. I then questioned her "I thought u told me and u supposed to give me a call when the room is ready?" She then speechless and passed me the room access card. I'm not going to lodge a complain or sound her because I wanna get into the room and rest. But my mood is totally spoiled. Haiiiz. Where's the hospitality, impeccable service and care?

4th of July, what a day. Feeling so sick when I woke up in the morning. It comes with headache, sore throat and bad coughing. Went to see doctor and absent from work. As shown from the photo above, the handsome doctor given me voltaren for fever and headache, antibiotic for sore throat and cough syrup for coughing. Hope to recover soon because my holiday mode is on. Ya, I will be away from 6th to 8th of July, all the way to Peneng!

Wondered why I fall sick so easily? Sighh T.T

I'm not really into horror movie due to the reasons I will have all the eerie imagination by myself when I'm home alone or while I'm in the lab and the fear emotions will definitely overwhelm my mind. I do not want to have nightmares as well. But this time, I dare myself to watch a horror movie together with my colleagues. Wonders why they are so fancy about horror movies .__. They wanted to watch "INSIDIOUS" but too bad this movie is no longer showing in the cinema. Hence we go for "LADDALAND", a Thailand horror film about a family moves into a new house where they gradually begin to encounter paranormal and horror events.

"Would u STAY or MOVE OUT if u village had GHOSTS?"

We watched it in Mid Valley. What a good seat I have. Jeng jeng jeng~~ The most right seat in the last middle row. Right behind my seat is the cinema hall entrance and on my right there are two empty couple seats which we didn't manage to purchase because the seats are under repair. But the seats seems just alright. And according to my friends, normally GSC will reserve some seats for those special "guests" to watch the ghost movie. This sticks to my mind and I feel scare. I start to have imagination before the movie starts omgggg! I keep on looking at the 2 empty seats on my right, keep on feeling there's "something" else sitting there. Arrghhhhh. I almost freak out.

This is the first time I feel so hot sitting inside the cinema because I'm so tense along the movie. Sorry that I couldn't give a movie review here because I'm actually didn't watch for most of the scary part. I covered my eyes with jacket and screamed .__. Now my sore throat is getting worst and swollen. But arr according to my friends, this movie is not as good as what they expected, not really scary as well but it did brings some morale to the audience. U can go watch it and judge it. We watch this at RM12 ticket is a bit not worth it hmmm.

What do u think about this picture? It looks like a sweet family photo isn't it? But for me, it gave me the creeps and made my blood run cold after I watched this film. Yerrrrr.

Sigh, this coming October I'm going to fly to Bangkok, Thailand. But I started to feel scare because whenever I hear Thai language it reminds me of this horror movie .___. Guess I need companion wherever I go including toilets. Next time no more horror movie.

♥ Father's Day

Went back to hometown last week to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and grandfather. This is a special day and so without think twice I didn't make any work planning as well as rejected all the friends date and outings just to go back to hometown. Just a simple celebration though. Had a great dinner celebration together with my family as well as my grandfather. And we bought a cake for both the fathers. It's lychee ice-cream cake.

What an unlucky day for me sigh. Woke up so early in the morning and went to work with a super duper good mood even though it was raining outside and that's what a good weather for sleep. Was thinking Monday no blues and happy kick start of the week, who knows bad incident happened when I almost reached University of Malaya. My car gave a "deep kiss" to a Proton Waja. Alamak!! :(

It was my fault, I shouldn't have take the hp to call my friend while I'm driving and about to stop at the traffic light. This was what he said to me when he get down form his car "Xiao jie, what are you doing ohh? You still haven't wake up from your sleep is it?" I was so nervous and my heart beating fast. I don't know what to response hence I just keep on apologizing to the driver. Luckily there's no big damp on the car. Just a minor scratch on the car. And the driver forgave me. So this is the fortune that befell on the unfortunate? Sigh. Kind of phobia now to stop closely behind other cars.

Bad lucks haven't end yet. Another unlucky incident happened as well in the evening. My colleague was tidying her ring files on top of the rack. Alright it just so unlucky that the files happened to fall from the rack and hit on my right arm .____. Ouchhhhh! So damn painful! And now there's blue black on my arm. Sighhhh! But why is she laughing when she is apologizing? I believe she don't do it on purpose.

What an unlucky day! :( I need more lucks.

Finally!!!! Yeah I have to use the word "finally" to at least shows how long I didn't hang out during the weekend. Last Saturday was lucky and relaxing one, managed to get myself taiwanese dessert in Snowflake which located at Subang SS15.

I like to cook but sadly time always doesn't allows me to cook (as well as my body energy limitation, oops sounded like I'm old ah maa). So whenever possible, especially over the weekend or public holiday, I will grab time to cook. Here u go, proudly share with u 4 dishes that I cooked for dinner last week haha :D

#1 Butter Head Lettuce (Siu Bak Choy).

Vegetable is a must in every meal u take. Just simply cook the siu bak chop with some garlics and anions. Everyone can cook this well.

#2 Japanese Taufu with eggs in oyster sauce.

This is an easy meal to be cooked too. Mimic sizzling japanese taufu (Tit Pan Taufu). Surprisingly it tastes good ;)

#3 Chicken in soy sauce and oyster sauce.

My all-time-favorite dish.

#4 Stir fried prawn and lala with garlics.

The most expensive dish among all. Nowadays prawn and lala kinda pricey T.T

To celebrate Jocelyn's birthday, we decided to give her a birthday surprise by having a small birthday party in the lab. A few of us try to drag away her attention by chatting with her, asking her to play game etc. Meanwhile, the others secretly buying birthday cake and balloons as well as ordering domino pizza. We did put effort on this and we succeed, big clap for us :)

♥ Home-cooked fried rice

On one beautiful Saturday, was lazy to go out for lunch hence get myself a home-cooked fried rice for lunch. Below are the ingredients that I used to cook the fried rice, very simple recipe.

#1 Hotdog, cut into slices

#2 Egg

#3 Garlics

#4 Rice that kept overnight in the fridge

Let's get started. First, I heat a wok and add some oils. When the oil is hot, I add the sliced hot dog to fried it. Then I add in some minced garlics following by eggs. Cook, stirring until they are slightly scrambled but not too dry. Next, I remove everything in the wok and clean the wok. Add oil, fried rice, stir-fry and break all the rice apart. Then i add some soy sauce and little bit of oyster sauce. Lastly add in all the ingredients and fried together. The fried rice is now ready to serve :)

Tadaa~~ My home-cooked fried rice. Easy to make and tasted great :)

Ohh ya! I cooked this braised pork with soy cause and served together with the fried rice. It make the taste of the fried rice even more excellent :D Great lunch I had hehe. Now what about you? Have u ever try to make a fried rice urself? What ingredients that u used? Come and share with me :)

♥ Lunch at Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe

This is my first visit to Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe which located at The Curve. I think this cafe is well-known, with concept/ theme similar to Full House but personally I think Full House's theme cuter :D I like the garden theme green plants decorations together with white wall, furnitures, piano etc, these settings all together creates a comfortable place for people to relax and relieve stress. And surprisingly they serves good food too, in other words the food quality is satisfying though I had tried only two dishes.

#1 My order's, Spaghetti Marina at RM17.90.

It serves with mussels, clams, prawn, tomato and basil sauce. Undoubtedly, it is delicious for me and I like it. They have other spaghetti too and I'm so gonna try their Spaghetti Aglio Ed Olio with shrimp during my next visit hehe.

#2 Friend's order, black pepper chicken chop at RM17.90.

The black pepper sauce tastes a little bit different from the sauce served by other restaurant out there, I don't know how to describe it but the taste still acceptable and a lil bit salty. And what made me felt strange was they serve the chicken chop together with sauteed French green beans. No mash potatoes? or carrot? or baked corn?

#3 We ordered only carbonated drinks instead of their signature soda drinks, quite pricy and we were not so into soda drinks.

Sweat -, - What a bad day. Couldn't find any parking in UM hence park at the road side just like what other cars did. Mana tau car got clamped sigh. RM30 summon but I paid only RM29. I pretending that I do not have enough money and took out RM22 only from my pocket. And the person laughed at me, guess he felt funny LOL. Then my friend took out another RM7 from her pocket and the person accepted our RM29 and unlock the clamp haha. So i had saved at least RM1 from the summon haha.

12.用吸管喝水的时候，往水里吹气，发出咕嘟咕嘟的恶心声音

13.把手指插到刚熄灭蜡烛的蜡油里取指纹

14.把内眼皮翻到外面来

15.用被子床单椅子枕头盖小屋，然后满足地钻进去

16.把洗衣粉，洗头膏，肥皂水混合在一起吹泡泡

17.洗袜子的时候用袜子口对着水龙头接水～试图装满袜子

18.小时候老和几个小朋友一起玩，东南西北。现在你还会折吗？

我们的童年时的幸福, 再也回不去了……

是因为我们大了，应该承担起应有的责任了……

♥ Sick and soup days

2011-03-03 Thursday

Had presentation/ progress report meeting in the morning till afternoon. I already felt sick since Wednesday night yet I still go to UM and attended the meeting. Feverish attacked me again after meeting hence took MC and went home. Had porridge for lunch and a long nap after home. Fever still, dizzy and nausea, therefore took another MC on the next day.

2011-03-04 Friday

Finally can have a long sleep. Feel so good that I don't have to go to work though I'm sick. I seriously need more rest now because next week onwards I'm going to be very busy and my work schedules damn pack. Sigh, tonnes of research works. Feeling better in the evening, so I cook old cucumber pork rib soup for myself.

The soup is really nice. I myself finished a two big bowls of it :) Thanks to my mum for bought me the pork ribs, hardly find in the KL/PJ. And yeah, I went to Pulau Ketam on Saturday. I will blog about it later. Stay tune ♥

Day 2

My rabbit CNY day 2 was really short, short as in the celebration is short. Supposed to go Bukit Tinggi and Genting Highlands but trip plans cancelled due to some unwanted circumstances. So I just had a very scrumptious lunch with my family then drove back to KL alone to meet and pick my bf. Such an unlucky day for him because his car broke down at highway while he is on the way back to Mentakab.

What's that cross ur mind when u first see the title "I ♥ HK"? The latest Hong Kong movie casting by Eric Tsang and many others famous actors actresses? :p Hahhah then u make a wrong guess. I'm just want to share with u a cute souvenir that I got from a friend. Thanks to her for buying these little cute "I ♥ HK" key chains for all of us in the lab. There are many colors for eg. black, white, pink, blue, red, green, purple, etc. And I get myself a white one. Pretty pure white and cute. I like it very much :)

♥ 19 to 24-02-2011 Scholarship days

I feel so happy that I received National Science Foundation (NSF) scholarship from Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). This is a great award as well as a powerful encouragement for me to continue striving for my postgraduate study! Ya, for u to get to know more about me, I think I should tell u this *thick face* :P I'm officially a postgraduate student registered in University of Malaya (UM), pursuing master in medical science. It is by research and so tonnes of research works (mainly focus in virus) will keep me occupied. Tough life :(

Saturday 19-02-2011
I received the scholarship contracts during CNY holiday hence I got no spare time to deal with it. And 24-02-2011 is the last day for the students to submit the it. Things to be submitted together with the agreement included photostated I/C, stamp duty, stamping, etc. I felt nervous actually because I do nothing/ prepare nothing for the contract until 19-02-2011 only I rushed back to hometown to get the signatures from principal of secondary school. And ohh my......! Although they supposed to have additional class in that beautiful Saturday but they went off early before I reached T__T *heart-broken* So all what I can do is just WAIT..till Monday (21-02-2011).

Monday 21-02-2011
Went to my secondary school very early in the morning and thanks God i managed to get the pricipals' signature. Then i went to Hospital Mentakab for a body check up. I didn't know student have to pay for it. They charged me RM20 for the X-Ray and RM20 for the pregnancy test. I'm not really happy with the service, freaking slow, the nurse and doctor do not have work ethics as well. The doctor don't even look properly on my X-Ray and he didn't even check on me. He just asked whether am I sick? I dropped him an answer "NO" then he wrote everything "NORMAL" in my medical report and done. Sweat. Drove back to KL at around 5pm.

Waiting for my guarantee to get his payslip for the whole day. Sweat and he didn't manage to get one for me.

Wednesday 23-02-2011

Went off to Wisma UOA at around 7.30am to get my guarantee payslip. While waiting for him I had my breakfast at Meals Station.

Their white coffee tastes so good! I like it very much. I had butter kaya toast and half boiled eggs too, nice :) After that I drove back to UM post office to buy five RM10 duty stamps. To find a parking took me 15minutes sigh. After that I back to my lab to certified all my photostated documents such as I/C and payslips. Then I went to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri which located at Jalan Duta. I don't know the direction and i do not have gps. I just google maps and managed to reach there safely.

And i gotta wait for like another 40 peoples only my turn to get the stamping. I wait for like around 1 hour and 45 minutes. After had my lunch with the labmates at UM, I drove to Putrajaya to submit the contracts. Luckily i took the correct route and reached there safely at 3.45pm. Met one of my UKM friends, feel so bad that she can recognizes me but I do not know her at all. Contracts submitted and I drove back to UM. It is already 5pm++.

I feel so exhausted but happy too, now I'm waiting for the government and UM to bank in the scholarship $$$ to me muahhahahha :D

Ohh ya, nextime i shouldn't have prepare all these things at last minute. It is so risky.

♥ Rabbit CNY 2011: Day 1..

It's not too late yet to blog and share about all the happenings during Chinese New Year right? This update gonna be a short one because my rabbit CNY's day one just nothing much to talk about. This year I'm not really longing for the arrival of CNY, it seems getting more and more boring year by year. Most of the friends are not back in hometown and holiday is getting less and less.

Day 1

Didn't manage to pay a visit to any relatives house, only gathered with friends. First stop at Esther's house, second stop at Pei Wei's house then Thomas's house and last Kent's house. Actually we snapped many photos with Bopet's DSLR but he is way too slow to upload the pictures on facebook and it is really difficult to get all the photos from him.

And this is why i can only share one group photo of us here................for u

Besides, we also bought a small piece of birthday cake for Wei Shien since he always complaining that he has to share one birthday cake with others (either Ling Ying or Cheng Kit) haha.
