A great Saturday morning with good breakfast. I'm feeling blessed.
The roasted pork (siew yok) noodles that we had for breakfast are really awesome. How can you resist a plate of dry noodle which topped with generous amount of roast pork, tau fu pok and bean sprouts (taugeh), in mix of soy sauce and watery curry? Combination like this really makes the roast pork noodles irresistible. And for those who can't take spicy foods, you don't have to worry because the watery curry is not spicy.
Interested to try this roast pork noodle? Just go to Restaurant Megah Good Luck (corner lot) which located at the opposite of Taman Megah Ming Tien foodcourt. I hope you will like this roast port noodles and it is up to your satisfaction.
Restaurant Megah Good Luck
Location/ Address: Jalan SS24/11, Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
I wish you all a great weekend :)

Namoo On The Park is the first Korean dessert cafe and bistro in Malaysia. I'm not a person who fancy about Korean foods, but then Namoo On The Park did caught my attention. Guess what's the dish that drives us to Namoo?
Namoo means “tree” in Korean. Hence, most of the decoration items in Namoo are made of wood and brown is the main color, which then give people a comfortable and natural feeling.
Location/ Address: Publika, Level G3, Lot 4A, Solaris Dutamas No.1, Jalan Dutamas 1, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In addition to Korean specialty desserts (both warm and cold desserts), Namoo also serves some Korean main dishes (from rice and noodles to burgers). For a complete list of foods serve in Namoo, kindly refer to the two photos of menu below.
The eating utensils for the main dish and desserts. Note: There is a hook under the table to hang your bag.
Back to the foods, rice burger is the reason why we are here. Namoo serves only three type of rice burgers: Bibi rice Burger, beef rice burger and shrimp rice burger. We ordered the chef recommended Bibi Rice Burger (Grilled chicken breast and mixed vegetables with sesame Bibi sauce, served on a grilled rice bun and fried egg) which costs RM 19.90.
The rice buns are sticky, firm and dense. The texture of the rice bun is similar to our local sticky rice in bamboo. Not sure what rice they are using to make the rice bun, but it contains sesame seeds and seaweeds which add extra flavours. This rice burger is good and irresistible. Not to forget to mention, the Bibi sauce gives you an overall sweet, sour and spicy mix of sensation.
Besides rice burger, we decided to order a cold dessert since Namoo is a Korean dessert cafe. Final decision goes to the chef recommended cold dessert with a bombastic name, The King's Bing Soo (RM 12.90). Bing Soo or Bingsu means shaved ice in Korean. It is one of the popular summer dessert in Korea.
The King's Bing Soo is a green tea shaved ice with rice cakes, red beans, mix fruits (kiwi, strawberries and banana) and ice-cream sprinkled with multi-grain powder. A perfect combination because a person like me who hate red beans also can't resist this. The fruits are fresh. Thumbs up! Both the rice burger and shaved ice really make my day.
I would definitely return for other rice burgers and desserts. Glad that we found Namoo and the foods here look interesting to me. Last but not least, a photo of me with a wall inside Namoo. Nice quote on the wall "You can never make the same mistake twice because the second time you make it, it's not a mistake, it's a choice".
Can't wait for the next return. Namoo!

Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner and to buy mooncake for the elders is a must. Do you know that in Chinese culture, round shape symbolizes completeness and unity. Thus, the sharing of round mooncake among family members signify the unity of families. But nowadays most of the mooncake selling outside is not in round shape. I saw minions, hello kitty, doraemon etc mooncake -.- Head scratching because I don't know which brand of mooncake I should buy for parents? Luckily in the end spotted the Purple Cane tea mooncake, which I believe wont be that sweet? The paper beg and the packaging is nice.

Lately, I have been seeing so many pictures and friends check in at Butter + Beans. After surfing the internet only I know coffee and freshly baked pastries are what they are famous for. It is located at BG-1a, Happy Mansion, Jalan 17/13 at Seksyen 17 Petaling Jaya. So near to where I currently stay and Ernest drawing is there too!

BAGEL! YOGURT! Are you craving for some freshly made bagel as well as yogurt? I would recommend you to head over The Mugshot Cafe (Address: 302, Chulia Street, Georgetown, Penang) to fix your crave. Bagel and yogurt are what they famous for. Special thanks to my friend for bringing me to this awesome cafe which then marked another worthwhile experience to my Penang trip. Both the bagel and yogurt were sold out during our first visit. Then we paid a second visit to The Mugshot Cafe.
You will definitely notice this huge eye-catching signage just right before you enter into The Mugshot Cafe.

While I'm searching for Medan travel guide books in bookstore, I found a travel magazine named The Walker (旅步) and I fell under its spell. Coincidently The Walker issue 003 is featuring the Free and Easy Indonesia (Medan, Lake Toba and Berastagi) as well as Mount Kinabalu (which is one of our urge: to conquer the Mount Kinabalu for the spectacular view). I really enjoy the way they deliver and share the travel experiences, thoughts and views. The content is rich and not too tedious, with attractive travel photos.
Managed to get The Walker issue 002- The Explorer series after a long search in other Popular and MPH bookstore branches. Then, went to the Walker Travel Photography Exhibition which is now takes place in The Ledge Art Gallery, 3rd Floor Highstreet, One Utama Shopping Centre (in conjunction with their 10K fans celebration). Good one but I actually expect more travel photos form the exhibition. Engaged in a short conversation with the founder/ managing director - Vaughn Woo, subscribed to The Walker magazine for a year and received The Walker debut issue as well as two awesome postcards for free.
And now... I'm patiently waiting for The Walker issue 004 to reach my doorstep. Do you like travel or following any travel magazine?
