While I'm searching for Medan travel guide books in bookstore, I found a travel magazine named The Walker (旅步) and I fell under its spell. Coincidently The Walker issue 003 is featuring the Free and Easy Indonesia (Medan, Lake Toba and Berastagi) as well as Mount Kinabalu (which is one of our urge: to conquer the Mount Kinabalu for the spectacular view). I really enjoy the way they deliver and share the travel experiences, thoughts and views. The content is rich and not too tedious, with attractive travel photos.
Managed to get The Walker issue 002- The Explorer series after a long search in other Popular and MPH bookstore branches. Then, went to the Walker Travel Photography Exhibition which is now takes place in The Ledge Art Gallery, 3rd Floor Highstreet, One Utama Shopping Centre (in conjunction with their 10K fans celebration). Good one but I actually expect more travel photos form the exhibition. Engaged in a short conversation with the founder/ managing director - Vaughn Woo, subscribed to The Walker magazine for a year and received The Walker debut issue as well as two awesome postcards for free.
And now... I'm patiently waiting for The Walker issue 004 to reach my doorstep. Do you like travel or following any travel magazine?
