Wondering whether i have time to bake or not this coming Chinese New Year. Besides cookies, i wanted to bake cupcakes also but bustle of working life doesn't allow me to do so. Haiz.
Come, let me show u how i bake the egg tarts which is one of my favorite :) U can also click to view cookies that i baked :D
.♥ First prepare all the ingredients that you need for the pastry and custard (flour, butter, fine granulated sugar, eggs and fresh milk).
.♥ Prepare the pastry first then only custard. Mix 125g butter and 30g fine granulated sugar and blend until they become whitish in color. Then add in one egg follows by 250g flour. Make sure all the ingredients are well-mixed. When it's done, mould them into a small-ball-like-shape as shown in the picture above.
.♥ Then place them into the egg tart mould.
.♥ Bake in the oven for about 3 minutes.
.♥ After that start to prepare the custard. Mix all the ingredients together (3 eggs, 50g fine granulated sugar and 150ml fresh milk) and stir till well-combined.
.♥ After stir till well-combined, filter it or pass it through a sieve before pour it into the prepared dough.
.♥ Bake in the oven for another 3-5 minutes.
.♥ Tadaaa~ Egg tarts are now readily to be served.
.♥ They tastes nice. I mean my egg tarts. Im not bluffing :DD
