2017 | Taiwan
Day 1: KLIA > Taoyuan Airport > Taichung > Tunghai University > Fengjia night market.
Accommodation in Fengjia: Loft Hostel
This trip marked my second trip to Taiwan, a beautiful country that I don't mind to travel every year. We booked Malindo Airline 6-months before the trip which costs around RM650. Travel period was mid-of-May.
Nothing much to do here. But we enjoyed our evening here for photo-taking and walking around the university ground.

This trip marked my second trip to Taiwan, a beautiful country that I don't mind to travel every year. We booked Malindo Airline 6-months before the trip which costs around RM650. Travel period was mid-of-May.
Luggage and meals are included. Plain omelette pretty good but portion was rather small.
Noodles with fried vegetarian taukan. Tasteless.
Signature must-take-photo when you are in a plane. Good weather.
Arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport. The architecture design is unique. Look at the reflection on the floor. We booked a tour guide and van for this 9D8N in Taiwan. First day in Taiwan and we decided to travel to Taichung right away.
Before departure to Taichung, we grabbed some snacks and drinks from 7-11. This milk candy is one of my favourite.
This brand of green tea also one of my favourite. If you have the chance to visit Taiwan, give it a try.
Tunghai University (东海大学) was our first stop in Taichung. This university is located in Xitun district in Taichung. We are here for the Luce Memorial Chapel (路思义教堂).
You will have to take a short walk (~15-20mins) from the main entrance of Tunghai University to the Luce Memorial Chapel. We enjoyed our walk. Luckily it is evening and the weather is good. The university compound is clean.
Luce Memorial Chapel (路思义教堂), with a tent-like conoid structure design, sits in the middle of huge green grass pasture. So unique and impressive. We are so in love with this place.
A closer look at the chapel. The exterior is covered in brown, glazed, and diamond-shaped tiles. But too bad we are not allowed to enter the chapel. We can only peek through the glass panel to catch a glimpse on its interior. A lovely couple was there for pre-wedding shoot.
We have no regret to pay a visit here.
