Ernest Zacharevic, a young Lithuanian artist, is well-known for his uniquely beautiful street arts/ murals in historical Georgetown. To view his street arts, you can visit our previous blog post at  ♥ Georgetown, Penang Street Art/ Mural Painting (by Ernest Zacharevic)

Feeling blessed that we managed to pay a visit to his first ever solo show called "Art is Rubbish/ Rubbish is Art".

This show (free admissions) was held at the Old Hin Company Bus Depot from 18 January to 14 February 2014.

And we were really excited that we finally get to see Ernest Zach in person . So lucky.

Ernest solo show is now closed down. Then, comes the second exhibition called "Think About It". It's a group show, exhibiting works from local talents Bibichun, Kangblabla, Renny Cheng, Tan Kai Sheuan and Low Chee Peng, UK artist Thomas Powell, and introducing to Malaysia for the first time, UK artist/filmmaker Gabriel Marques (opens March 7). Can't wait to drop by.

To all the street art lovers who miss "Art Is Rubbish/ Rubbish Is Art" by Ernest Zacharevic, let's catch a glimpse of his artworks and deem yourself what is art and what is rubbish

This particular oil on board artwork named "Michael Jackson".

One of the special artworks made by thumb tacks.

Simply like this corner at Hin Company Bus Depot.

The washrooms.

More artworks.

The Lego lady's left hand was broken and the handbag gone. Same goes to the knife holding by the Lego robber.

Ernest and his friend putting effort to fix them.

More good pieces of artworks. The murals.

One of my favorite Ernest's artwork.

There is the other similar one near 32 At The Mansion. Go and hunt for it.

Last but not least, Ernest Zacharevic's signature.

We really enjoyed this awesome exhibit. We like each single piece of his artworks. ♥ Thumbs up.
