The new Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) is built with bigger capacity and superior facilities to replace the LCCT. It was scheduled to open in May 2014 and glad that we had the chance to catch a glimpse of it so soon on 14 May 2014 when we want to travel to Hatyai.
There is over 90 outlets of F&B outlets to fix your crave.
Gateway@KLIA2. The main entrance at Level 3, the departure hall and retail stores.
Check in counters.
Be sure to reach there early because you really need a longer walking time to your boarding gates. You will definitely need more than 10 minutes.
KLIA2 is really huge.
The design of female washroom. It is clean.
When we are on our way to the international departure gate. A long long long long way to go. And you will walk towards and cross the Skybridge.
Still long way to walk. And we have plenty of time, so we take our own sweet time to have fun and to explore KLIA2. Nice corridor.
Then, we get down to Level 2 to get to boarding gates. There are retails shops and F&B outlets for you to shop and chill.
Very big passenger seating area. Impressive.
There is this "Ask Me" service everywhere. Do not hesitate to ask if you have any enquries.
Some photo session before we go through the customs and to the boarding gate.
View from the Skybridge and some view of the aerobridge.
Can't wait for my next trip in July. KLIA2 is too big and I need more time to explore haha.
Safe flights, everyone.
