A lunch date at Coffee Chemistry Signature. Also my first date with the newly bought Nikon DSLR :)
Coffee Chemistry Signature is not just a coffee cafe, they do serve Asian-Western fusion cuisines. We kind of like the simple settings of this cafe, it gives a very comfortable atmosphere.
Each table is adorned with a potted flower centerpiece.
Rose caramel macchiato 3D (RM 12.90).
According to the tips left on Foursquare, this is one of the popular drink in Coffee Chemistry Signature. Probably due to the adorable 3D art. And so..... I placed an order for this drink and it took awhile for the drink to be served. Doubtlessly the 3D bear foam is pretty darn cute, but this is not my favourite macchiato. This coffee is mouthfeel smooth though, not too sweet, not bitter. But the combination of flavour with notes of rose and caramel just simply do not tickle the taste buds of mine.
Passion fruits smoothies (RM 12.90).
Smooth and thick. Dan's all-time-favourite. Healthy, filling and refreshing. A tangy treat right for any time of the day.
Carbonara beef bacon mushroom pasta (RM 16).
A fabulous carbonara pasta. Creamy and cheesy, with lots of bacon and mushrooms. Thumbs up.

Quite a thin piece of chicken escalope and crunchy. People like me who do not fond of the texture of bland chicken breast find this chicken escalope pleasing, especially with the mango chutney (good balance of sweet and sour). An appetizing dish.
An escalope is a piece of boneless meat that has been thinned out (source from Wikepedia).

Apart from this satisfying lunch, we are amused by some of the built in scene mode in the newly bought DSLR, especially the food scene mode and monochrome picture control. It is nice to be able to shoot in black and white from DSLR directly.
Life is wonderful, accompanied by good foods and companion, families and friends. I'm blessed. And glad that we can have at least some of the beautiful life moment captured on camera. Moment that lasts forever.

Have you been to Penang On 6 (槟城六号)? Penang On 6 is relatively new and just had its grand opening on 17th of April 2014. If you get the chance, you should check this place out, especially for those who likes Chinese retro-styled decorations or nostalgic old Penang look.
Below are some of the informations which I hope they can give you some idea of what is Penang On 6:
1. Where is Penang On 6 located?
A small area located at the 6th floor of Gurney Paragon. (Picture below shows the main entrance of Penang On 6.)
2. Why establish Penang On 6?
To help young entrepreneurs with little models to set up and run their business.
3. What you can do or find in Penang On 6?
First, there are areas with Chinese retro-styled decoration for you to take photos. See the pictures below.
In addition, there are a few shops opened where you can find unique fashions and accessories (for eg. Laicitoo), handicrafts and collectible items.
There is also one cafe in there, named 槟城六号咖啡店.
Most interestingly, there will be a routine themed event called Retro Saturdays to be held in Penang On 6 every Saturday from 2pm to 10pm, or sometimes on Sunday too.
4. What are the activities of Retro Saturdays?
For examples, traditional games, Chinese opera characters photography session, performace and demonstrations, different type of workshops (knife massage, self defense, traditional batik, workshops for kids, etc), contests, etc. The activities will be varied every weekends, so do check out Gurney Paragon facebook page for more information.
We enjoyed our visit to Penang On 6 and we hope the same for you :)

Most of the people do not know there is one KTM railway station stationed at Mentakab (Pahang) and named after the town of Mentakab. It is one of the major stations of KTM's East Cost Line.
Mentakab railway station is small and seems abandoned. However, these unique features (especially the old-fashioned steel bridge) had caught many people attention to drop by for photo taking, especially wedding photo shoot.
Here we would like to share with you some of the photos taken few months back when we were at Mentakab (all the photos were hdr-ed). p/s: oh ya, not to forget to mention, we are from Mentakab, a small and lovely town.
Do not miss out this railway station if you happen to drop by Mentakab, Pahang :)
